medium type

The kind of asset a media item is — an image, a video, a downloadable document, an audio clip, a 3D model. A qualifier of the media property (not a standalone product slot): it describes one media item, and each media statement carries its own medium. Orthogonal to media role: a video may serve as a demonstration, a document as a reference sheet.

Medium type is answered with one word chosen from the medium types list — the same word shared across every product that uses it.
