The maximum length a personalization field's text input may be — a numeral of characters ('up to 20 characters', a monogram capped at 3), riding the personalization-field statement as its qualifier. Cardinality one, and OPTIONAL: present for text-shaped inputs (a line of text), absent for a number, a date, a pick-from-a-set or an image upload, where a character ceiling is meaningless (mirrors the optionality of return_window / warranty_term). The structural ceiling only — the realised length of the buyer's actual entry is computed downstream, never stated here (A13: the seller sets the ceiling, it is not derivable; A15: a character count, no comparison crosses a unit).
