quantity state
The named state a reported inventory count is counted in: available (sellable now), committed (sold but not yet shipped), on-hand (physically present), incoming (inbound replenishment), reserved, damaged, safety-stock, or quality-control. A qualifier of the inventory-level host, bound to one inventory statement (so one product reports many counts, one per state), as a filterable token from a growing vocabulary.
Quantity state is answered with one word chosen from the inventory states list — the same word shared across every product that uses it.
It is a qualifier of inventory quantity — it has meaning only inside a inventory quantity statement, one per statement, never on its own. It belongs with inventory quantity to availability — whether it can be obtained.
It is answered inside every inventory quantity statement, not as a standalone question on a kind.
Answered inside every inventory quantity statement — not a standalone slot on any kind.
