Drainage types
How a planter handles excess water at its base, a holes->reservoir->sealed gradient: drainage-holes (open holes drilled in the base, the standard free-draining planter), removable-plug (base holes fitted with a stopper that can be opened or sealed), self-watering (an integral water-reservoir base that wicks moisture up), and no-drainage (a solid sealed base, a decorative pot cover / cachepot).
