The closed family of shapes a free-text date value may take. A property that points at this vocabulary holds calendar dates or timestamps written the international way (year, then month, then day, e.g. 2026-07-02, with an optional time part). Binding a text property here is what lets a form show a date picker instead of a bare text box, and lets the validator refuse an impossible or misordered date.

Answers the questions: review date, price valid from, price valid until, availability starts, availability ends, question date, comment date.
