The measured absolute viscosity of the fluid, in mPa·s (cP), at a stated temperature. It is NOT a duplicate of `kinematic_viscosity` and could not be folded into it: the two have different dimensions and converting between them needs a density the pool does not hold, and one house publishes the same nominal property both ways — Repsol prints its car DOT 4 brake fluid at -40 C in cSt and its Qualifier motorcycle DOT 4 at -40 C in cP. It is the figure SAE J300 uses to DEFINE a winter grade: every Castrol engine oil publishes `Viscosity, CCS | ASTM D5293 | mPa.s (cP)` — 9000 at -15 C on GTX 20W-50, 5600 at -30 C on Magnatec 5W-30 — and every gear oil and automatic-transmission fluid publishes a Brookfield figure in the same unit (Castrol Axle EPX 130 000 at -26 C, TotalEnergies Fluidmatic MV LV 11 200 at -40 C, Beck/Arnley Type WS 7940). Cardinality many with a required `reference_temperature`, for the same reason as its kinematic twin. Concern measurement.
