A product's measured quantitative extent together with its kind-specific spec settings — the magnitudes expressed as a numeral + unit (net weight, net content, the dimensional extents, and every per-kind capacity) AND the kind-specific categorical settings that ride on the same spec sheet (wash cycle, brew method, heat setting, crust color, …). The UNIVERSAL cross-kind merchandising facets a product is chosen by — color, material, size, size_system — are NOT here; they were carved into the `facet` concern. A property here may still be marked a buyable variation axis per kind via the `axis` mark, independently of this grouping (e.g. net_content on a multipack).
