speed rating

also called how fast it may turn · permissible speed

HOW FAST THE BEARING MAY TURN, as a numeral with a rotational-speed unit and a REQUIRED `speed_rating_basis` saying WHICH of the trade's two speeds the figure is. Reuses the live `RotationalSpeedUnits`; no new machinery. SKF's column is `Speed ratings / Limiting`, and it prints 18 000 r/min for the open 6205, 14 000 for the 6205-2Z and 8 500 for the 6205-2RSH - one bearing size, three sealings, three ceilings. THE BASIS IS REQUIRED FOR THE SAME REASON `reference_temperature` IS REQUIRED ON A VISCOSITY: the two speeds are different numbers for one bearing and neither bounds the other - SKF's own table prints, for the SAME 25 x 52 x 15 bearing, `6205` at reference 28 000 and limiting 18 000, `6205-2Z` at 28 000 and 14 000, and `6205-2RSH` at reference BLANK and limiting 8 500 - and note that for the open bearing the reference speed is HIGHER than the limiting speed while the sealed one has no reference speed at all, so neither figure bounds the other in either direction. A bare `8500` beside a bare `28000` would rank one bearing three times faster than another on a comparison the makers never made. This is b154's `boiling_point`/`fluid_condition`, b155's `heat_range`/`heat_range_scale` and b157's `cure_time`/`cure_stage` shape used a fourth time, and deliberately so [H3-f8]. Cardinality many: a catalogue row publishes both bases. Concern measurement.

Speed rating is a measured figure, given in rpm.

It belongs to measurement — its measurable, physical facts.

the bundle what travels with each speed rating

A speed rating is not a lone value — each statement is a self-correlating bundle, carrying its own:
