IT HANGS DIRECTLY UNDER `Product` AND UNDER NO AUTOMOTIVE BRANCH, and UNSPSC states the campaign's bounding ruling better than a paragraph could: class 31171500 carries `Wheel bearings` 31171503 AS ONE OF SIXTY-ONE COMMODITIES BESIDE `Ball bearings` 31171504, `Roller bearings` 31171505, `Tapered bearings` 31171516, `Needle bearings` 31171512, `Thrust bearings` 31171507, `Angular contact bearing` 31171531, `Plain bearings` 31171515 and `Linear bearings` 31171506 - filed in segment 31, manufacturing components, nowhere near a vehicle. Habib stocks five of these; a workshop, a mill, a fan factory and a skateboard shop stock the rest. SO `WheelBearing` FOLDS, AND IT FOLDS ON THE BEARING MAKERS' OWN CATALOGUES RATHER THAN ON AN ANALOGY. NOT ONE MAKER READ AT THE MINT PUBLISHES `wheel bearing` AS A BEARING TYPE. SKF's general catalogue has no wheel-bearing chapter at all - its product chapters are deep groove ball, angular contact ball, self-aligning ball, cylindrical roller, taper roller, spherical roller, CARB, thrust - and the entire taper chapter contains ZERO occurrences of the word `wheel`. NSK's own aftermarket hub catalogue calls its wheel products `BWD` and `KWD` and glosses them, in NSK's words, as `double-row angular contact ball bearings (BWD) and double-row tapered roller bearings (KWD)`. Koyo writes it plainest of all: a first-generation hub unit comes in `two types: DAC, which uses balls, and DU, which uses tapered rollers`. And where `wheel` DOES appear as a published datum it is a POSITION, not a type - NSK heads a column `POSITION` with values `Front Wheel` and `Rear Wheel`, and Koyo's distributor catalogue heads one `Automotive Position` with `Wheel`, `Gearbox`, `Differential`, `Tensioner`. A wheel bearing is an angular contact ball bearing doing a job. That is the 2026-08-25 amendment biting for the SIXTH proposal running, and for once the corpus and the makers said it before the loop did. WHAT MAKES IT A CLASS [L3]: eleven slots `Product` does not have, and the three the spine already holds are declared here rather than re-minted. `bearing_type` is required. `bore_diameter` is minted because A BEARING IS TWO CONCENTRIC CIRCLES AND THE SPINE HOLDS ONE - `diameter` keeps the outside diameter D, which is genuinely the product's own overall diameter, and the bore d gets a named slot on the `blade_diameter`/`turntable_diameter` precedent the spine's own definition already points at. `ring_width` with a required `ring_position` is minted because A BEARING PUBLISHES MORE THAN ONE WIDTH: Timken's sealed tables carry a `Ring Width` group under the legend `Ring Widths | B Inner | C Outer` and print 14.27 mm against 8.00 mm on the 36KLL, Koyo's legend reads `B = Cone Width, C = Cup Width, T = Overall Width`, NSK's hub tables head two width columns `B` and `b`, and Koyo's DAC3874W - Habib's row 72 - is catalogued `38 x 74 x 36/33`. The spine's `width` keeps the overall figure. THE COMPLETENESS CHECK WAS RUN AT THE MOMENT OF THE FOLD, NOT AFTER [H2-f16], AND IT IS WHAT PUT FOUR MORE SLOTS IN THE BATCH. What does a wheel bearing publish that a plain bearing does not, and what does any bearing publish that this class must hold? SKF's product table answers it in one row of headings - `Principal dimensions d D B | Basic load ratings dynamic C static C0 | Fatigue load limit Pu | Speed ratings Reference Limiting | Mass | Designations` - and the table below it is the proof that dimensions alone are not enough: `6205`, `6205-2Z`, `6205-2RSL` and `6205-2RSH` are FOUR SKF ARTICLES AT 25 x 52 x 15 mm WITH IDENTICAL C AND C0, told apart by their sealing and by limiting speeds of 18 000, 14 000, 14 000 and 8 500 r/min - so `bearing_sealing` and `speed_rating` were minted. `6205 ETN9` is a fifth article at the same 25 x 52 x 15 whose dynamic rating is 17.8 kN against the plain 6205's 14.8 - so `dynamic_load_rating` was minted, and `ForceUnits` with it, the pool having had no force family at all. `6205-2RSH` and `6205-2RSH/C3` are a sixth and seventh, identical in EVERY field above and separated by nothing but the clearance suffix - so `internal_clearance` was minted. And NSK's hub tables carry a column headed `ABS SENSOR` whose two printed values are `encoder` and a dash - so `magnetic_encoder` was minted. Without those five, seven current SKF articles and both kinds of NSK hub unit would be ONE STATEMENT in this grammar, which is the b155 B6ES/BP6ES and b157 SI 5900/SI 5910 defect, found this time by the generator's own check rather than by the adversary. `axle_position` IS RE-DECLARED HERE AND THAT DISCHARGES b156's BINDING OBLIGATION H4-f1 - see the property's own definition for the full ruling. WHAT THE SPINE ALREADY CARRIES AND THIS BATCH DID NOT RE-MINT [A11]: mass is `net_weight` (SKF prints 0.13 kg for the 6205, Koyo 0.71 kg for the DAC3874W), the designation is `trade_identifier` with `identifier_scheme`, the maker is `manufacturer` against `brand` [R31], and `material` holds a bush's bronze. FIVE things this class STILL cannot say are recorded as obligations rather than hidden: SKF's `Fatigue load limit Pu` (0.335 kN on the 6205), its precision class (`P5`, `P6`, Timken's `M = ABEC 3` and `V = ABEC 5`), its cage design (`M`, `TN9`), the fact that a wheel-bearing KIT is sold with a hub, an ABS ring and an axle nut in the box - which is composition, and b156 ruled box contents out - and THE CHAMFER (FILLET) RADIUS [A-15], which all three houses read at the mint publish on EVERY row under three names: SKF prints `r1,2 min. 1 mm` on the 6205-2RSH, Timken heads a column `Fillet Radius` and glosses it `Maximum shaft or housing fillet radius that bearing corners will clear`, and NSK heads TWO columns `rx (min)` and `ry (min)` IN THE VERY `BOUNDARY DIMENSIONS (mm) d D B b rx ry` BLOCK THIS DEFINITION QUOTES FOR THE WIDTH PAIR. It decides whether the bearing clears a shaft shoulder, `LengthUnits` exists, and it is deferred on b156's standard. WHAT THE SOURCE MAY AND MAY NOT WITNESS. Habib's five bearing rows are the DEMAND SIGNAL only [L12]. They carry a maker, a designation and a Swahili fitment note and nothing else - no dimension, no load rating, no seal. Every differentia above stands on a document read at the mint: SKF's own rolling-bearing catalogue chapters for deep groove and tapered bearings, NSK's `Wheel Bearings HUB I For Automotive Aftermarket` catalogue, Koyo/JTEKT's own hub-unit pages, Timken's ball-bearing catalogue D1, and the bilstein group and winparts records for named febi and SKF VKBA articles. The designations in the rows are read for DIMENSIONS ONLY, and only because the makers say the code is the dimensions: `DAC3874W` is 38 x 74, `DAC38710039` is 38 x 71, and Koyo's own catalogue name for the first is `DAC 38740036/33`.
