minimum order quantity

also called minimum purchase

The fewest units of the product a buyer must purchase in one order — a floor on the order, as a count of the selling unit (a numeral on the b132 counting QuantityUnits dimension, each). Cardinality one: an offer states one minimum. A structural bound independent of tiered pricing (a tier schedule's floors are the quantities at which the PRICE changes; this is the quantity below which the order is refused). Its magnitude is realised (L1); the counting unit is the governed token. Bulk measure minimums quoted in a mass or length (a 'min 5 kg' loose-goods order) are out of scope here — they belong with the measure-units axis; this counts discrete selling atoms only (A15, no cross-unit comparison). An offer filter, not a variation axis.

Minimum order quantity is a measured figure, given as a whole count of selling units.
