The COUNTING-unit dimension: pure discrete item counts (each — one individual item, one piece). It answers only 'how many individual items' and carries a single unit, each. Pack/sale units — pair, dozen, set, case, carton — are DELIBERATELY NOT members here: they are not measurement units but content-defined groupings whose count lives on the `contains` relation (RelationShapes, b81) and whose word is a DERIVED read on the shelf (nothing contained -> 'each'; one part with a count -> pair/dozen/N-pack; two or more distinct parts -> 'set'), never a stored count-unit. pair/set/case/dozen were formerly minted here (b58) and were RETIRED (2026-07-11) to close the D1-Delta2 contradiction: a raw stock count or order floor may now only ever carry a pure counting unit, so a stored '12 dozen' that a contains-derived shelf read would contradict is no longer sayable. A property drawing on this dimension counts the PRICED ATOM itself — each carton is one 'each' of a carton-version; that the atom is a carton is read from its `contains`, not from this unit.

Answers the questions: tier minimum quantity, inventory quantity, rating count, engagement counter, question vote count, answer vote count, helpful vote count, phase iterations, minimum order quantity, maximum order quantity.
