properties /measurement

property number + unit a measured amount

net content

The volume of product a single saleable item contains (a 750 ml bottle; a 1.5 L bottle) — the saleable-quantity AXIS: a differing net_content on the same kind is a different sellable VERSION (the 500 ml and the 1.5 L of the same drink). Distinct from net_weight (the physical mass, a plain measurement descriptor) and from a contained count (a 6-pack, a composition fact handled by the contains relation in C17, kept a separate property). Bounded to a unit-vocabulary member exactly as a token is bounded to a value member — there is no out-of-vocabulary axis value.

Net content is a measured figure, given in liters.

It belongs to measurement — its measurable, physical facts.
