The overall width of a product - its horizontal extent across the front, as the maker states it. A numeral with a length unit. Product-intrinsic, distinct from SHIPPING/package dimensions (fulfilment). ON A BEARING IT IS THE OVERALL WIDTH AND NOT A RING'S OWN (b158). SKF prints a single `B` of 15 mm for the 6205 because that bearing's rings are flush; Koyo prints three columns and says which is which in its own legend - `B = Cone Width mm`, `C = Cup Width mm`, `T = Overall Width mm`; Timken prints a `Ring Width` group under the legend `Ring Widths | B Inner | C Outer` and gives its 36KLL 14.27 mm inner against 8.00 mm outer. This slot holds the overall figure - Koyo's `T`, the flush bearing's single `B` - and a named ring's own width is `ring_width` with its required `ring_position`. The cardinality of this slot is deliberately NOT widened to hold the pair, because widening a spine cardinality is a pool-wide judgement and not a kind proposal's to make [H4-f3].
