inseam
also called leg length
The inside leg length of a bottom garment, measured from crotch seam to hem, as a numeral with a length unit (reusing the spine LengthUnits dimension; e.g. a 34 inseam in inches). For bottoms this is a buyable length, not merely a descriptive measurement: bottoms are sold across a waist x length grid (a 32x30 and a 32x34 of one jean are different sellable versions), so where a seller offers several lengths each is a distinct version — the length paired with the size (waist). Being a measurement facet, inseam is eligible to vary by default; which lengths are actually offered is a downstream Seedbed statement.
Inseam is a measured figure, given in millimeters or inches.
It belongs to measurement — its measurable, physical facts.
