The lowest temperature at which the oil will still flow, by ASTM D97 — Castrol GTX 20W-50 -30 C, GTX Diesel 15W-40 -45 C, QUARTZ 9000 0W-40 -42 C, Toyota Type T-IV fluid -50 C. Published by every engine oil and nearly every transmission fluid examined. DISTINCT from `freezing_point` (on Coolant), and the distinction is a real one, not a naming preference: a pour point is a PUMPABILITY limit of an oil measured by ASTM D97, while a freeze point is the crystallisation temperature of a glycol-and-water mix measured by ASTM D1177 and varying with the dilution ratio. No sheet publishes both, and no product is asked both. Concern measurement.
