WHETHER A MIX RATIO IS TO BE MEASURED BY WEIGHT OR BY VOLUME. Required on every `mix_ratio` statement, and required because the two bases give different numbers for the same product: Huntsman publishes Araldite 2011 as `Parts by weight 100 / 80` and `Parts by volume 100 / 100`, and Henkel publishes LOCTITE EA E-20HP as `2:1` by volume and `100 : 55` by weight. A bare ratio is therefore not an imprecise statement but a false one for whichever basis the reader assumes wrongly. The shape is b155's `heat_range` + `heat_range_scale` and b156's `friction_grade` + `friction_grade_condition`, used a third time: the qualifier carries the frame and the value carries only the figure, so nothing is stored twice [A17], and it is deliberately NOT b154's `viscosity_grade`, whose scale is encoded in the value code as well [H3-f8].
