A threaded ignition device screwed into a combustion chamber, which fires a spark across a measured gap between a centre electrode and one or more ground electrodes to ignite the charge. It hangs DIRECTLY UNDER `Product` and under no automotive branch, because the pool files by what a thing IS: UNSPSC puts spark plugs at 26.10.17 (`26101732`) under power generation and distribution, alongside ignition coils and distributors, and nowhere near vehicle components — the same reading that put b153's filters under filtration and b154's oils under lubricants. No `IgnitionComponent` intermediate was minted: it would carry no slot of its own and have no sibling in the pool, which is padding, not structure [L3]. WHAT IT MINTS ON, AND WHY EACH FACT IS THE PLUG'S OWN. Thirteen slots plus one reused, and they are not this generator's list — they are, almost line for line, the columns NGK prints across the top of its own catalogue's designation table: "Thread diameter · Thread length · Seat configuration · Hex size · Resistor · Heat rating · Design · Spark gap". `thread_size` is REUSED from b153 rather than re-minted, since a screwed joint is a screwed joint [A11], and its filter-scoped wording was generalised in the same batch. `thread_reach`, `hex_size` and `electrode_gap` are lengths published per part by NGK, Bosch, Denso and Champion alike. `seat_configuration` is NGK's own column (named so, and not `seat_type`, because the live pool already spends that code on a FURNITURE property — `Seat.seat_type` over `SeatTypes`, a dining/folding/accent/outdoor use word; a homonym is not a shared fact [A2]). `heat_range` is every maker's headline rating. The electrode facts — `electrode_material`, `electrode_tip_diameter`, `ground_electrode_count` — are what the makers call the "Design" column. `terminal_type` and `interference_suppression` decide whether a lead will attach and whether the radio will hiss. `firing_end_configuration`, `spark_position` and `hex_profile` were added on the adversary's evidence, each because a real pair of current parts was otherwise indistinguishable here: B6ES against BP6ES, projected against not; the Bosch WR78X's published 3 mm spark position; and NGK's ILKAR7B11 against PLZKBR7B8DG, which agree even on a 14 mm hex and still need different sockets. THE FOLD, AND THE CHECK THAT MAKES IT HONEST. Only ONE class is minted here. Every sub-kind the trade names — copper plug, platinum plug, double platinum, iridium plug, quad-electrode, resistor plug, taper-seat plug, short-reach and long-reach — is a VALUE of one of the slots above and not a class, which is the 2026-08-25 amendment biting a third time running after b153's FuelFilter and b154's five fluid types. The mirror check was run at the moment of the fold and not after [H2-f16]: an iridium plug's headline published fact is not the word "iridium" but the fine wire it allows, so `electrode_tip_diameter` is minted here to carry it (Denso IK20, 0.4 mm; NGK ILZKR7B-11S, 0.8 mm; against 2.5 mm on a plain nickel BKR6E-11); a double-platinum plug needs the material stated TWICE with different positions, so `electrode_material` is cardinality-many and position-qualified; a quad-electrode plug needs `ground_electrode_count`; a projected-tip plug and a surface-gap plug need `firing_end_configuration`, without which NGK's B6ES and BP6ES are the same statement; and a tungsten-tipped, copper-cored electrode needs `electrode_layer` beside `electrode_side`, because NGK publishes two metals for ONE electrode. Nothing the folded names publish is unsayable on the parent. AND THE NOTICE THIS CLASS CARRIES [H3-f5]. Five of its slots — `thread_size`, `thread_reach`, `hex_size`, `seat_configuration` and `interference_suppression` — are facts about a THREADED PART THAT SCREWS INTO A HEAD, not about a spark gap, and NGK's own glow-plug numbering publishes thread sizes of 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 18 mm while HT leads publish suppression. The moment a second threaded ignition part is seeded (a glow plug, UNSPSC `26101724`; an oxygen sensor; a drain plug), all five re-home to a common parent under [L5] and this class must be re-tested under [L3] — it would still hold nine exclusive slots, but the test is owed, not assumed. Written here so a later session cannot mistake it for settled. WHAT IT DELIBERATELY DOES NOT HOLD. Fitment — which engine the plug goes in — is ⊘ out-of-scope for the whole campaign (operator, 2026-08-25): it is a cross-reference to another product, and it lives downstream as instance prose in `description` and `also_known_as`. The part number in either box is already free on the universal card: the same Denso plug as `90919-01210` in a Toyota box and as `3297` in a Denso one is `manufacturer` against `brand` plus two `trade_identifier` statements with their schemes [R31], no new structure. And the glow plug of a diesel engine is NOT a member of this class — it is a resistive heater with no spark, no gap and no ground electrode — so it is not folded in here by name.
